Maureen Ashu-Ebai - Online Memorial Website

She was born on March 1,1952 in Batchuo-Ntai.Upon completing primary school she attended Queen of Rosery College(QRC) Okoyong-Mamfe before going to do teacher training in BTTC Soppo,Buea.After teaching in Government Primary School Buea for some years she proceeded to the University of Wisconsin,Whitewater-U.S.A. where she studied journalism and graduated with a Masters Degree.She then returned to Cameroon with her husband,late Mr Ebai Victor and both of them worked in Bamenda.She served with CRTV Bamenda for some years before being transfered to CRTV Douala after her husband got a job with the defunct PMO.Finally she was transfered to CRTV Buea where she worked until her retirement.

Maureen Ebai as she was popularly known by her CRTV fans,leaves behind four brothers,Mr Ashu James of Boston,Massachusetts-U.S.A.,Mr Ekumah Emmanuel of Dallas,Texas-U.S.A.,Mr Ako Julius of CAMTEL Mamfe-Cameroon,Mr Enokpa Daniel of Silver Springs,Maryland-U.S.A.,uncles, aunties,cousins,neices and nephews to mourn her.
